Great to meet you!

I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up as their real self, without judgment, and feel truly heard. As a licensed mental health counselor, I work with teens and adults who are carrying anxiety, trauma, depression, or OCD, often while also managing the demands of everyday life. I have a particular interest in supporting new moms through postpartum anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts that can make early motherhood feel overwhelming. Reaching out can feel like a big step. I want you to know you do not have to carry it alone, and I would be glad to walk through it with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and shaped around what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all script. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect, and to build coping skills that hold up outside of session. In our work together, we might practice grounding and relaxation strategies, examine thought patterns that have been running the show for too long, and identify the strengths you already have so you can lean on them with more confidence. I explain every technique in plain language, show you how to use it, and check in regularly so our work stays aligned with your goals as they change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other, at your pace. I will ask about what brought you to therapy, your background, and what you are hoping for, and you will have real input into how we structure our work together. You never have to share more than you are ready to, and we can adjust as your needs change along the way. You do not need to have the right words or a clear plan before we start. My goal for that first conversation, and every one after it, is for you to leave feeling heard, a little lighter, and like you have a real partner in this.
