Great to meet you!

I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I have experience working in schools, hospitals, primary care, in-home services, and outpatient mental health settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals facing a wide range of challenges while recognizing that every person's story and needs are unique.

I especially enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem challenges, and personal growth. My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up as themselves without fear of judgment.

I tend to be a good fit for individuals looking for a therapy experience that feels conversational, reflective, and relationship-focused rather than highly structured or worksheet-driven. While I incorporate practical coping strategies and evidence-based techniques when helpful, I also value creating space for self-exploration, insight, and meaningful personal growth.

I believe meaningful change happens when people feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Whether you're working through a specific challenge or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, my goal is to help you build insight, confidence, and the tools needed to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, relational, and insight-oriented. I believe therapy should feel authentic, supportive, and tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we will create a space where you can explore challenges, gain insight into patterns that may be impacting your life and relationships, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based practices while recognizing that meaningful change often comes from both practical skill-building and self-reflection. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on developing coping strategies, navigating life transitions, improving relationships, processing difficult emotions, building self-esteem, or exploring longstanding patterns that no longer serve you.

Above all, I strive to provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current challenges, personal history, strengths, and goals so I can better understand how to support you. My priority is helping you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the start. Together, we’ll begin identifying what you’d like to work toward and create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.
