Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who believes that counseling should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.

My experience includes working with college students and adults facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, grief, and difficulties with self-esteem and identity. I am especially passionate about helping people navigate difficult seasons, understand the experiences that have shaped them, and develop healthier ways of coping and moving forward.

My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I want my clients to feel heard and supported, but I also believe meaningful growth sometimes requires being challenged. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and work toward changes that feel realistic and meaningful for your life.

I understand that reaching out for counseling can feel intimidating, particularly if you have never been in therapy before. You do not need to know exactly what to say or even where to begin. We can figure that out together.

Ultimately, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to work through difficult things, and empowered to make changes that help you live a healthier and more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a space where you feel safe to be honest while also being challenged to grow. I work with clients to better understand the experiences, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to current struggles, while developing practical tools for creating meaningful change. I often incorporate strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. My goal is to help you feel supported and understood while also empowering you to build greater confidence, resilience, and healthier ways of navigating life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll talk about what brought you to counseling, what you hope will be different, and any experiences or concerns that feel important for me to understand. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we will move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify goals we can work toward together. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling understood, encouraged, and confident that you have someone in your corner as you move forward.
