Brianna Prazen

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I graduated from the University of Wyoming with three BA's in Psychology, Philosophy, and Social Science, and received my MSW with a concentration in Trauma and Mental Health from DU. I have spent the past decade working with different populations/settings including youth and children in residential, detention, mental hospitals, and with adults who have severe and persistent mental illness.

I enjoy providing psychoeducation in each of my client interactions and supporting my client through the exploration of their potential. I believe that there are fundamental skills that will be critical throughout this discovery and I will meet my client where they are at to learn them while identifying and addressing many different internal and external barriers to growth. I let my client's energy lead the pace.

My clients can expect to become more empowered as they learn more about their mind and body in regards to their mental health and how to work with them to increase life satisfaction. They can also expect to develop more awareness around systemic factors and dynamics that come into play in their everyday lives. I am here on this journey with you and believe that the therapeutic relationship we develop along the way will be critical in reestablishing safety and trust with yourself and with others.
