Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who aims to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes that best align with your unique goals and value system. I have experience and special interests in working with adolescents and adults who are trying to navigate life transitions, relationship struggles, grief/loss, and/or trauma. I believe growth happens when we're willing to talk through difficult experiences, examine limiting beliefs, and take intentional steps toward positive and healthy change.

My approach to therapy

I understand that therapy can feel scary and intimidating. As your therapist, I strongly believe in taking a participatory and collaborative approach so you never feel alone in this journey. Our sessions will very much be focused on you and your goals, but I will be there to guide you every step of the way. I utilize talk therapy while incorporating and teaching you tangible and applicable skills/tools to address your various concerns. The hope is that you leave each session feeling empowered to use the tools learned to improve your happiness and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be spent getting to know one another and building a safe and comfortable therapeutic space. You'll have time to share some of your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Collaboratively, we will identify some treatment goals and develop a (very flexible and ever changing!) plan for future sessions.
