Great to meet you!

I am an Independently Licensed Social Worker with over ten years of experience in the field of social work. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they navigate trauma, major life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.

I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Integrated Treatment for Complex Trauma, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I draw from these evidence-based approaches to provide thoughtful, individualized care that is grounded in both skill-building and deep emotional processing.

My experience across diverse settings has strengthened my commitment to meeting clients with compassion, clinical skill, and a genuine belief in their capacity for growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

I am a strengths-based therapist who believes that every person already holds resilience, wisdom, and the capacity for growth within them. My role is to help you recognize and build on those strengths while supporting you through the challenges that bring you to therapy.

I meet clients where they are, honoring your pace, your readiness, and your unique lived experience. I understand that each person has many parts that include different emotions, roles, and internal experiences that all deserve care and curiosity. I also recognize that we are deeply shaped by the systems we are part of, including family, culture, community, and broader social structures. These systems can both support and impact us in complex ways.

I strive to understand each person in the way they identify, knowing that identity is layered and intersectional. You may hold multiple identities that influence how you move through and experience the world, and all parts of who you are welcome in our work together.

Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and caring. I genuinely want my clients to succeed and not just in reducing symptoms, but in building meaningful, fulfilling lives. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you move toward growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time exploring how you decided to seek therapy at this point in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your past and current experiences to better understand your story and the context surrounding what you’re going through.

We will also talk about what you’ve been experiencing internally, your thoughts, emotions, and reactions, and how these may be affecting your daily life, relationships, and overall well-being.

We will close our time together by discussing your goals, hopes, and intentions for therapy. This first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a collaborative relationship and to ensure you feel heard, understood, and supported as we move forward.
