Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia with a Master of Social Work from Delaware State University. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life's challenges while creating meaningful, lasting change.

I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach incorporates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I believe therapy should be a collaborative experience that allows clients to feel supported while developing practical skills to navigate everyday challenges.

My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, which is why I strive to make the process approachable, engaging, and tailored to your individual needs.

Whether you're working through a difficult season, seeking personal growth, or simply looking for a space to be heard, I'm here to support you. Together, we can identify your strengths, explore new perspectives, and work toward a healthier, more balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their challenges.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we focus on identifying patterns, building healthy coping skills, strengthening relationships, and developing practical strategies for everyday life.

I also believe in meeting clients where they are, recognizing their strengths, and celebrating progress along the way. My goal is to empower clients to gain confidence, develop greater self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change at their own pace.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I understand that opening up to someone new can feel intimidating, so my priority is to help you feel comfortable and supported from the very beginning.

Our first session will focus on getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and exploring your experiences, concerns, and personal goals. I believe in meeting clients where they are, so there is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.

My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and genuine connection. I want you to feel confident that therapy is a safe space where your experiences are valued and your voice matters. Together, we'll begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship and identifying meaningful steps toward your personal growth and well-being.
