Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Bridget Ehrhart-Bennett. I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared, dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) with extensive experience providing care across mental health, primary care, and integrated healthcare settings.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions. My background includes providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health treatment, with a focus on supporting individuals in achieving stability, clarity, and improved quality of life.

My dual certification allows me to approach care holistically—recognizing the connection between physical and mental health and tailoring treatment to the whole person. I am especially passionate about trauma-informed, patient-centered care that emphasizes dignity, respect, and collaboration.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe that effective care starts with truly listening and understanding your individual experiences, goals, and concerns.

I work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical strategies to improve daily functioning and overall well-being. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable speaking openly.

I also take a holistic and integrated approach—considering how stress, physical health, lifestyle, and past experiences all play a role in mental health. My goal is to empower you with the tools, education, and support needed to make meaningful, lasting changes.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you in. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and goals for treatment. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and share what you’re hoping to gain from care.

Together, we’ll begin developing a plan that feels comfortable and realistic for you. This may include discussing potential treatment options, including medication if appropriate, and identifying next steps.

My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and at ease from the very beginning. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your care plan and how we will move forward together.
