Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Bridget, a licensed clinical social worker in New York, opening my telehealth practice to a small number of clients I can be fully present for. I have spent many years in the field: I directed a women's shelter where I supported women living with serious mental illness, and today I supervise the social workers who care for hospice patients and their families. That work showed me how much steady, genuine connection can change a person's week, and it's exactly the kind of one-on-one relationship I want to offer here. I want to help women grow and develop coping skills to deal with anxiety and life changes.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. Years of case management and crisis work taught me to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment, and to balance what is practical and possible with what is felt underneath. I take time to understand your story and what you want to be different.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a relaxed, low-pressure conversation, and there is no need to have everything figured out beforehand. We will talk about what is bringing you in, a bit of your history, and the goals you would like to work toward together. You can expect me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My hope is that you leave feeling genuinely heard and clear on how we can work together.
