Great to meet you!

I have a background in working with adolescents in the juvenile justice system who struggle with a variety of issues including family conflicts, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and gang involvement. I'm passionate about working with at-risk youth to help guide them in making necessary changes for them to be successful and I'm looking forward to applying those skills and passion to a broader population in private practice.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic approach to counseling that blends CBT interventions with person centered, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I believe in the importance of building the inner strengths you already possess to help you grow.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel accepted, validated and supported during each of their sessions as I guide them to explore underlying emotions, thoughts, and challenges they are facing. I strive to teach clients skills they can use to deal with life stressors, navigate relationships in a healthier way, and decrease the negative impact their symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief or trauma may be having on their lives.
