Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed Social Worker since 2017. I received my bachelor's and master's at Texas A&M Kingsville. I obtained my clinical license in 2022. I have worked with children in the foster care system. I worked with families and caregivers to educate them in best care for children and families of trauma and crisis. I provide stress management, anxiety reduction, family dynamic therapy, crisis interventions, and self-harm intervention

My approach to therapy

I integrate different theoretical orientations based on each client’s goals, preferences and unique personality. Our approach will also consider the specific challenges you are facing. I generally use elements from Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral approaches to treatment, while also drawing from principles of mindfulness to increase awareness and engagement both in our sessions and my clients' day-to-day lives.

What you can expect from me

I use cognitive behavioral techniques to assist clients in reducing anxiety, symptoms or challenges clients are experiencing. I also utilize a psychodynamic approach so that we can better understand the base of the clients concerns and challenges. This will allow us to make long-term changes, improve the client's quality of life and the ability to sustain happiness in their lives. The goal is to help the client feel better and make progress sooner.
