Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Bridgette McClure, LCSW. I have 9 years experience helping other's with their mental health. My background includes foster care, working with veterans, providing therapy to incarcerated individuals, and therapy for sex offenders. I have a broad range of experience in providing therapy.

My approach to therapy

Many of the people I work with are used to pushing through, showing up for everyone else, and minimizing their own needs. Over time, that can start to feel heavy, isolating, or exhausting. You may look “fine” on the outside but feel very different on the inside.

Therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to explain everything perfectly or have the “right words.” We take things at your pace. Together, we begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying and why it’s been so hard to put down.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care. I draw from cognitive and behavioral strategies, while also focusing on emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, and the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. I aim to be collaborative, steady, and real, someone who helps you feel both understood and supported in making change.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are a space where you can show up exactly as you are with no need to filter or perform. Some days we talk through what’s happening right now. Other days we look at deeper patterns or build practical tools you can use outside of therapy. We move at a pace that feels manageable for you. Nothing is forced, and you always have a voice in the direction of your care.
