Great to meet you!

My name is Brietta Looney and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in southern California, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with young adults who may struggle with anxiety, stress, and depression, using Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Humanistic Therapy to help you make progress and accomplish the goals you desire.

My approach to therapy

My approach is tailored to each individual I work with. I usually lean towards Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, and/or Psychodynamic Therapy, as each modality helps me and you build a better understanding of your reality and allows us to work together in overcoming challenges they may be experiencing.

What you can expect from me

My approach to goal setting with clients is all about working together to define and determine what you want to accomplish in our time together. Each individual is different, I prefer to listen and not assume I know what will work best for you. I believe everyone is the expert of their life. You choose your journey; I only intend to support you along the way.
