Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist. I have over 11 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I have worked with people that have struggled with anxiety, depression, daily stress, loss, mood disorders, learning disabilities, etc. I offer telehealth to clients interested in traditional talk therapy or art therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My role as a therapist is to be a collaborator with you. Together, we will work to understand your situation and the changes you would like to see. I utilize a mix of approaches including CBT, positive psychology, and art therapy. For those that are interested in art therapy, no prior art experience is required. Only an open mind to trying a different approach. Art therapy allows you to explore your situation, thoughts, and emotions using symbols, which forms a link to the subconscious.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal as a therapist (whether the client is interested in talk therapy or art therapy) is to have each client leave the session feeling renewed, encouraged, and empowered. If you are interested in learning more, you can call or email me to request a 15 minute consultation. I’d love to answer any questions that you have and get to know you!
