Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a collaborative and supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical. I strive to help clients better understand themselves while developing realistic strategies to manage stress, navigate life transitions, improve relationships, and cope with anxiety or emotional overwhelm. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT-informed techniques, mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions, tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs and goals. I value authenticity, curiosity, and self-compassion, and I aim to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to help clients better understand patterns that may be contributing to distress. Together, we work to build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-compassion. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to get to know each other and discuss what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, coping strategies, and the goals you hope to achieve through treatment. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying areas of focus and develop a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to determine whether I feel like the right fit for your needs, and I encourage you to ask questions along the way.
