Brina is a licensed mental health counselor based in NYC. Brina graduated from Fordham University with a masters in mental health counseling. She has worked in a variety of outpatient settings including a school-based mental health clinic and a community clinic. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults and families to help them overcome challenges and strive to heal.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Brina utilizes an integrative approach that is based on mindfulness, psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral techniques. She assumes an integrative approach to help meet the needs of each client. Treatment plans are designed for each client based on their individual needs and goals.

She has experience working with clients who struggled with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, substance use, relationship problems, navigating life’s ups and downs, and more.

Brina aims to engage all clients from an open, empathic, and nonjudgmental perspective, eager to learn from her clients and watch them grow. Brina strives to provide her clients the utmost care by collaborating with other care providers and primary figures in clients’ lives such as parents, school counselors, and psychiatrists.
