Great to meet you!

Hi I am Brionna Banks, LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker) with 11 years of experience in social work and 5 years providing psychotherapy. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard without judgment and gain the tools to move forward with greater confidence and self-awareness. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress, postpartum depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other emotional concerns. I have particular experience supporting women and mothers as they navigate the demands of motherhood, identity, relationships, and major life changes.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and person-centered. I work with clients to develop greater self-awareness, resilience, self-compassion, communication skills, conflict-resolution strategies, and practical problem-solving skills.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a session that feels structured, warm, and collaborative. I start by getting to know who they are, what’s been going on recently, and what prompted them to reach out. We move at a pace that feels comfortable — there’s no pressure to share more than they’re ready for. Clients often leave the first session with a clearer sense of direction, a feeling of being understood, and a shared plan for what we’ll focus on next.
