Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Britnee and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in New York and Utah. I work with children and adults. I grew up in rural Idaho and earned my bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education from Utah State University. I earned my MSW from Syracuse University. I am trained and certified in diagnosing and treating personality disorders. I am a firm believer that the best indicator of success in therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship. I deeply value authenticity, compassion and empathy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths?

Connection and relationships are paramount to my work as a therapist. I excel at fostering relationships and genuine connection with my clients. I am non-judgmental, empathetic and authentic. I love seeing my clients thrive and make meaningful changes in their lives.

My Treatment Methods

Strength-Based I enjoy helping clients identify and build upon their unique strengths!

Attachment-Based Relationships begin at the moment of birth! Our earliest relationships inform how we interact with others and with the world around us. Understanding this can improve the quality of our relationships across the lifespan.

Evidence-Based I employ a variety of evidence-based modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Schema Therapy, among others. Therapy is a unique journey and I will tailor treatment to your unique situation.

What you can expect from me

In our initial session, we will get to know one another, and I will answer any questions that you may have about the therapeutic process. We will identify your unique challenges and collaborate to set goals for treatment. Subsequent sessions will be spent working toward achieving those goals. If you are presenting for a psychological examination, you can expect an evaluation of your condition. I will provide a thorough and thoughtful evaluation that will help guide you and your provider make informed decisions about your care.
