Great to meet you!

I hold a master's degree in counseling and I'm licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), with certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I've worked across agency and private practice settings with a wide range of clients, which showed me early on how much this work can support people in very different seasons of life.

My focus is on relationships: with a partner, with yourself, or with people you've never quite felt close to. I work with individuals, teens, and couples, and I'm EMDR-trained and Gottman Level 1 Trained for that work. Whether someone is feeling disconnected from a partner, unsure how to make decisions without worrying what everyone else thinks, or carrying anxiety and stress that's built up over time, my approach centers on figuring out, together, what isn't working and how to shift it in a way that actually fits their life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, not directive. I'm not here to hand you a list of things to fix. We look together at what isn't working in your life right now, and figure out what shifting that could look like for you. I focus on relationships: how you learned to protect yourself from closeness, and whether that's still serving you. Progress isn't one big turning point. It shows up in small, concrete moments like trying something different with someone in your life, saying a hard thing out loud, or just sitting with a new way of thinking about it before you're ready to act on it. All of that counts.

What you can expect from me

There's nothing you need to prepare for your first session. Just show up as you are, and we'll figure out the rest together. I'll ask about what brought you in, but you don't need the right words for it. We'll also go over paperwork together, which gives you a chance to get comfortable in the space before we get into anything harder. By the end, you'll have a sense of what working together could actually look like.
