Great to meet you!

I've had the pleasure of working with folks looking to enhance their lives for over 15 years. Formal education has been part of the process, but nothing is as valuable as the learning that's come from working directly with folks.

My approach to therapy

My work is informed by psychodynamic theory (how the past informs the present) and systems theory (the roles we play, sometimes imposed upon us, in all the systems we exist in from families to the world at large). I have training in narrative therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, and parts work. Most importantly, my work recognizes that you are the expert of your own life.

What you can expect from me

The first session sets the stage for our work together. It is for both of us to get to know each other and make sure we're the right fit. This includes gathering relevant history and establishing guard rails for our work together.
