Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed professional counselor providing virtual therapy to adults and mothers across Pennsylvania. My work is grounded in helping clients navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, and the often unspoken weight that comes with motherhood and major life transitions.

If you’re looking for therapy that balances compassion with accountability, and support that meets you where you are, I may be a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach is honest, supportive, and practical. I’m the therapist who will validate your experience and help you build the skills needed to move forward. Sessions are collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, while still leaving room for real conversation and reflection.

I work primarily with Black women and mothers, creating a space where you don’t have to over-explain yourself or show up perfectly. My style is warm, direct, and intentional—focused on helping you regulate your emotions, strengthen self-trust, and develop coping tools that actually fit your real life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. This session is also a space for you to ask questions and get a feel for my style to determine if we’re a good fit.

You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental conversation where there is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re ready to. I’ll help guide the conversation, reflect what I’m hearing, and begin identifying themes or patterns that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing.

By the end of the session, we’ll discuss next steps and begin outlining goals for therapy. Some clients leave feeling relieved simply having a space to talk, while others leave with gentle insight or grounding strategies to support them between sessions. The pace is intentional and centered on what feels most helpful for you.
