Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Brittanney Mills, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) offering virtual psychiatric care across Georgia. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, and neurodivergence.

I hold advanced training in both nursing and psychiatry, with years of experience in psychiatric care and supporting neurodivergent individuals. My clinical approach combines evidence-based medication management with a deep respect for each person’s story, values, and strengths.

I have worked in a state hospital and specialty clinic serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, which shaped my trauma-informed and inclusive perspective. I now focus on helping clients who may have felt overlooked or misunderstood.

My approach to therapy

I take time to truly understand the whole person - not just the diagnosis - by listening closely to your goals, challenges, and lived experiences. Whether we’re managing medication, exploring lifestyle strategies, or collaborating with therapists and families, I focus on building treatment plans that are clear, realistic, and sustainable. I also offer education and supportive decision-making to help you feel confident and empowered in your care.

***PLEASE NOTE: I do not prescribe controlled substances such as stimulants and benzodiazepines at this time.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with me, you can expect:

  • A nonjudgmental, collaborative space where your concerns are taken seriously
  • Practical guidance and honest communication
  • Evidence-based treatment recommendations tailored to your needs and values
  • Ongoing support, not just symptom checklists
  • If you’ve ever felt overlooked in traditional mental health care—or are seeking thoughtful, individualized support for yourself or your child—I’d be honored to help.
