Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, I believe mental health is an essential part of overall wellbeing. Reaching out for help can feel intimidating, especially if you’ve always been the one others rely on for strength or have learned to “stay strong” while using coping strategies that no longer serve you. I commend you for taking the first step.

I have over six years of experience in behavioral health across diverse clinical settings, and I focus on working with adults navigating life transitions, ADHD, attachment and family challenges, and the lingering effects of childhood experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person centered, helping clients gain clarity, improve emotional balance, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths based. I believe healing starts with understanding why you feel the way you do and building on the strengths you already have to create lasting change. I use practical, evidence based tools to help with emotional regulation, communication, and executive functioning, while supporting those who often feel overwhelmed or stuck in patterns like people pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries. I won’t tell you what to do, but I’ll help you explore your options and make choices that align with your goals and values. My goal is for you to feel understood, capable, and empowered to create a more balanced life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on creating a warm, safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. I’ll ask questions about your background, current symptoms, past experiences in therapy or healthcare, and what has or hasn’t worked for you. This helps me personalize your treatment plan and make cultural considerations so your care fits you, not a one-size-fits-all model. The first session is about understanding what you’re seeking and what you hope to gain from therapy—we may not have a diagnosis right away, but we’ll start identifying the next steps together. I’ll always be transparent if I believe you could benefit from additional support, and I’ll provide referrals or coordinate care to make sure you get what you need.
