Great to meet you!

I’m Brittany Bernardi, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with a passion for helping individuals express and process emotions through art therapy and creative expression. I specialize in working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and stress management, using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength-based techniques.

My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, build self-awareness, and develop coping strategies. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or overwhelming emotions, I’m here to guide you toward healing and growth through the power of creativity.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and creative, blending art therapy with evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. I believe that art and creativity can unlock emotions and insights that are difficult to express through words alone.

In our sessions, we’ll use the creative process to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you’re painting, drawing, or engaging in other forms of artistic expression, the focus will be on self-discovery, emotional healing, and building resilience. My goal is to help you develop coping skills, process past experiences, and align your actions with your values.

What you can expect from our first session

In our sessions, you can expect to gain clarity, self-awareness, and coping skills through the creative process. Together, we’ll work on identifying patterns, processing emotions, and developing tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship issues, or life transitions, I’ll provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your emotions and work toward the future you envision. You’ll leave sessions with practical strategies, a renewed sense of hope, and the confidence to create meaningful change in your life.
