Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! Hi, I'm Brittany, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) certificate. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, family issues, anger management, panic disorders, relationship issues, stress management, trauma, and diabetes-related emotional challenges. I specialize in ADHD and Autism, and I bring a deep understanding of how neurodivergent individuals experience the world.

I received my master's degree from the University of Kentucky and my Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Capella University. I also have training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support clients working through trauma. My style is humorous, energetic, and open-minded. I believe laughter and connection are powerful tools in therapy, and I don't take myself too seriously even when we're doing serious work.

I take a behavioralist approach to treatment, incorporating humor, and finding the right fit for different personalities. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to this journey. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child with ADHD or Autism, a teen struggling with anxiety or school challenges, or an adult navigating relationship issues or life transitions, I'm here to meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of therapeutic methods including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, Art Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Behavioral approaches. I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs, personality, and goals.

I offer individual therapy and family therapy because I believe healing often happens in the context of relationships. My goal is to help you build practical skills, understand patterns, and create meaningful change in a way that feels natural and sustainable for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session is like a first date, getting to know each other, what you would like to accomplish, and how we can work on your goals together. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping will change.

You can expect a warm, energetic, and nonjudgmental space where humor is welcome and you feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, hopeful, and ready to take the next step on your journey.
