Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 11 years of experience and diagnostic privilege. My style is warm, genuine, and relational — I believe therapy can be a place where you feel both safe and fully yourself. I take an eclectic and creative approach because there is no one-size-fits-all model; every person deserves care that is tailored to who they are and what they need.

My work is grounded in empirically based practices, and I integrate a variety of modalities to support growth and clarity. I enjoy incorporating insights from John Gottman’s research, especially around communication, connection, and relationship dynamics.

I view the therapeutic relationship as a powerful part of the healing process. Together, we’ll build a supportive, authentic connection that can help you feel seen, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

You’re not too much. You’re not too sensitive. You’re not broken. You’re a human being carrying a lot & I'm here to help unpack it. My style is non-traditional, creative & full of warmth. People describe me as sunshine—but I know how to sit with the dark, too. I bring warmth, realness, and a deep belief that healing is always possible. I’m your biggest cheerleader, but I’ll also gently challenge you to grow. Therapy with me blends deep work with real conversation, humor, & inner child healing. I specialize in anxiety, depression, marital issues, parenting, & life transitions. Together, we’ll break cycles and build the life you want.

I work well with individuals, couples, and parents navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, emetophobia, panic disorder, relationship/marital challenges, break ups and major life transitions. My approach is creative, supportive, and empowering—blending evidence-based tools with holistic, compassionate strategies tailored to your needs.

Healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to begin. I’m here when you’re ready. If you’re ready to feel more connected, confident, and supported, I’d be honored to walk beside you. Your story matters. Let’s explore where you've been, where you want to go, and how to get there—together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and grounded environment where they can take a breath and simply be themselves. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what brings you to therapy, and identifying the goals or changes you’re hoping to make. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — the session moves at your pace.

I use an eclectic and creative approach, so I’m curious about what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past and what feels most supportive now. I’ll take the time to understand your experiences, strengths, patterns, and challenges through an evidence-based lens.

By the end of the first session, clients often have a clearer sense of their goals, an understanding of how we’ll work together, and a feeling of connection and safety in the therapeutic relationship. My aim is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
