Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. Every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself and work toward meaningful change. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and foster lasting resilience.

I primarily use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. I tailor treatment to your specific goals, strengths, and needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I have over seven years of clinical experience working with adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions. I have a special passion for supporting military members, veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and others who have experienced overwhelming or traumatic events.

Before becoming a therapist, I served in the U.S. Air Force, an experience that deepened my understanding of resilience, service, and the unique challenges faced by military members and their families. I also served as a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocate, providing crisis intervention and support to individuals navigating trauma. These experiences continue to shape my empathetic, client-centered approach to therapy.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Trained therapist. I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with evidence-based practices so I can provide the highest quality care. My goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and supported as you move toward healing and the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. My approach begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and understood. Together, we'll identify your goals, explore the experiences that have shaped you, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

I primarily use EMDR therapy for trauma and PTSD, while integrating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I adapt treatment to fit your needs, strengths, and pace.

Whether you're working through trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create lasting change. I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where healing can occur and where you feel empowered to move toward the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and respected.

Together, we'll identify your goals and begin developing a plan tailored to your needs. If you're seeking EMDR therapy, we'll talk about your history, assess whether EMDR is an appropriate fit, and discuss the preparation process before beginning trauma reprocessing. You won't be expected to share every detail of your experiences during the first session—we will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

By the end of our first meeting, you'll have a better understanding of how I work, what the therapy process looks like, and the next steps toward achieving your goals.
