Great to meet you!

Dr. Ellis is an experienced and skilled licensed psychologist. She has expertise in all areas and life stages and has treated a diverse range of conditions. Dr. Ellis's experience includes veteran populations and trauma related disorders, sleep and insomnia disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders, panic disorders, eating disorders, chronic pain, and personality disorders. Whether you're feeling depressed, working through trauma, or dealing with stress from a recent adjustment in life or day to day stressors , you don't have to face it alone!

My approach to therapy

Dr. Ellis utilizes a blend of therapeutic approaches that is tailored to each client she meets. While Dr. Ellis tends to blend client centered, CBT and ACT approaches, she may also pull from other theories depending on the need and personality of her client. Not one approach fits all and Dr. Ellis believes in finding the right fit for each person. Dr. Ellis will collaboratively work with each of her clients to determine the best style, approach, and plan. Dr. Ellis believes that to best help each client, there needs to be a therapeutic connection and alliance built.

What you can expect from me

From the first meeting, you can expect to be met with empathy, genuineness, and authenticity. Dr. Ellis meets each person where they are at in life and joins them in their journey, no matter where that may be. Dr. Ellis brings a non judgmental, compassionate, yet curious approach to each meeting.
