Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with resilience, insight, and confidence. I bring a unique background to this work — I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran and a former law enforcement officer, as well as a mental health clinician, so I offer a compassionate, practical, and strengths-based perspective grounded in real-world experience.

A Savannah, Georgia native, I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's in Psychology with an emphasis on Forensic Psychology. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Crisis Intervention, and the Gottman Method for couples. I've worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, veterans, active-duty military and their families, and first responders facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges.

I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and relationship concerns. As both a veteran and a former law enforcement officer, I have firsthand understanding of the unique stressors that come with military and first-responder life — and I'm passionate about helping clients build resilience, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy — grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I believe every client has the capacity for growth and healing, and that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I work to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences openly.

On top of that person-centered foundation, I integrate evidence-based practices tailored to your specific needs and goals. No two clients are alike, so I'll collaborate with you — whether individual, couple, or family — to build a personalized approach that honors your strengths, values, and life experiences while giving you practical tools for long-term success.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, judgment-free space where you can share your experiences at your own pace. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and talking about what brought you to therapy. We'll explore your concerns, relevant personal history, strengths, relationships, and the goals you hope to reach through counseling.

This first session is also your chance to ask questions and decide whether I'm the right fit for you. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
