Great to meet you!

I'm Brittany, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting people through some of life's most challenging moments, across residential, outpatient, nonprofit, and virtual settings. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD, parents of neurodivergent children, and young professionals who are ready to stop fighting their brains and start building a life that actually fits them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply person-centered, blending CBT and DBT with a genuine belief that you already have everything you need inside of you. I'm here to help you find it!

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me feels less like sitting across from an expert and more like having an informed, warm teammate in your corner. I show up to every session genuinely invested in you, where you are right now, where you want to go, and everything in between. My role isn't to hand you a diagnosis and a worksheet. It's to walk alongside you, help you unearth the power that's already inside of you, and give you the tools to actually use it!

My approach is deeply person-centered, which means everything we do is shaped around you specifically. Your brain, your history, your goals, your life. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, both of which I have advanced training in, and I bring an active coaching stance into the room. That means we're not just talking about change. We're building toward it, session by session, with strategies that are practical, applicable, and designed to work for how you're actually wired.

A lot of my clients come in having spent years trying to make traditional approaches work for them and wondering why they couldn't. The answer is almost always the same: the approach wasn't built for their brain. I meet you where you are and tailor your therapy needs to actualize real change.

My positive spirit and kind heart aren't just personality traits. They're clinical tools. The warmth and safety I bring into our sessions creates the kind of environment where real honesty can happen, where you can finally say the things you've been carrying quietly, and where the truth can land without shame attached to it. I will reflect things back to you clearly and directly, but always from a place of deep respect for who you are and who you're becoming.

You are not a problem to be fixed. You are a person with incredible capacity, and I genuinely can't wait to help you see that.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about you and there's no pressure to have it all figured out or know exactly what you want to say. We'll spend our time together getting to know each other, talking about what brought you in, and starting to map out what you actually want your life and healing to look like. I'll ask a lot of questions because I genuinely want to understand your world, your brain, and what's felt missing. By the time we wrap up, my goal is that you leave feeling heard, seen, and maybe even a little lighter than when you walked in!
