I graduated with my Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University in 2014 and am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have worked with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and specialize in therapeutic approaches for adults (18+) experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, stress and life-adjustment issues, and relational stressors. I offer both in-person and telehealth options for sessions.
I compassionately tailor my approach to my clients’ needs and advocate for each individual’s story, strengths, and resiliency. I utilize an integrative stye to the counseling process and pull from a variety of research-supported modalities, including CBT, CPT, Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
My professional philosophy is: If I'm doing my job right, then I'm working myself out of a job. My goal is for my clients to not only develop a deeper sense of self-awareness and -compassion but for them to also know how to apply the skills and techniques to effectively cope and navigate life's stressors beyond the therapeutic setting.
