Great to meet you!

My name is Brittany and I believe that counseling and therapy are tools to help us better understand the multifaceted, and often times, complicated systems that make up our unique worlds. Being an African-American woman from a military community, I've worked alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds within a wide variety of environments ranging from corporate America to correctional facilities. Individuals who choose to work with me often report struggling with work-life balance, isolation, lacking a sense of self and/or community, and feeling like they are on edge all the time.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I prioritize learning and enjoy integrating concepts that connect the mind and body. I'm supportive, relaxed, and take a straight forward approach to therapy and my sessions incorporate talk therapy with goal setting and concepts from the expressive arts, interpersonal neurobiology, and cognitive behavioral techniques.

What you can expect from me

Our first few sessions will be us working together to identify what your specific needs look like and discussing what therapeutic strategies may work best. I’m here to be the collaborating force that helps you embrace, reframe and curate a life that best aligns with the individual YOU want to be. So, let's chat! I currently see adult clients individually in-person on Sundays in Round Rock, TX and virtually Monday-Wednesday. Inquire about upcoming group therapy sessions and workshops.
