Great to meet you!

You might be coming to this page carrying a lot, but I am here to help you navigate the process. I see women at any life stage who are juggling work, family, and high standards. You may be anxious, with racing or intrusive thoughts, social anxiety, burned out, and often stuck in overthinking, needing a space where you can breathe and be open without judgment. I start by creating a safe, supportive foundation, then move into skills for daily life. My goal is to help you find your way toward healing and balance.

I obtained my Bachelor's of Psychology from Valdosta State University and a Master's of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and I'm proudly neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming and celebrating.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety and phobias utilizing exposure and response prevention(ERP). I have received over 30 hours of training and continuing education on the ERP modality, and I am currently in peer consultation with a certified ERP therapist. I also utilize internal family systems (IFS) and Cognitive Processing Therapy to treat PTSD and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT and Mindfulness to treat emotion dysregulation

My approach is practical, skills-based, and you-centered, so you'll leave sessions with real tools you can use in your actual life, not just insight you talk about and then set aside. That said, I don't believe in skipping the "why." Understanding where your patterns come from matters, and we do that work too, but it's in service of helping you change, not just talk about change. I'm not a fan of therapy that goes in circles with no forward movement.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a safe environment where you feel heard and understood. It can be really hard and scary to disclose OCD intrusive thoughts or even just show up and pour your heart out to a stranger.

I hope to make you comfortable while getting a thorough understanding of your biological, psychological, and social history with a current picture of the frequency and intensity of your symptoms.

After we obtain a good assessment, we develop a treatment plan together to ensure that therapy is relevant and moving in a direction that helps you progress.
