Great to meet you!

I’m a counselor with five years of experience and over nine years in the public school system, which includes both my undergraduate studies and clinical practice. I’ve had the privilege of working in both non-profit and private practice settings, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the diverse needs of my clients. I specialize in supporting individuals affected by trauma, childhood abuse, and veterans, and I have a deep understanding of autism spectrum disorders.

My goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe in working collaboratively with clients to uncover the root causes of their struggles and develop personalized strategies for growth and healing. My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, and I take pride in tailoring treatment to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re navigating trauma, ADHD, autism, or a combination of challenges, I’m here to walk with you toward greater self-awareness and healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my psychodynamic approach, I create a supportive, empathetic space to explore the underlying patterns and unresolved conflicts that may be influencing your struggles. I specialize in working with individuals on the autism spectrum, those with trauma histories, and clients navigating ADHD. Together, we examine how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape present challenges. My goal is to help you gain deeper insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, fostering emotional healing and personal growth. By understanding these internal dynamics, we can work toward resolving conflicts and developing healthier coping strategies for lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their patterns of behavior, and the underlying causes of their struggles. Through our work together, you’ll uncover emotional blocks and unprocessed trauma, allowing for healing and growth. My goal is to equip you with practical tools and strategies to manage challenges like trauma, ADHD, autism, and other complex issues.

You’ll also develop a clearer perspective on how past experiences influence your present life, gaining the insight needed to break unhelpful patterns and create lasting change. I aim for each session to leave you feeling more empowered, self-aware, and equipped with strategies to navigate your challenges both inside and outside of therapy. Most importantly, you can expect to feel supported, respected, and encouraged as you work through your journey of healing and growth.
