I am a mental health counselor with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, with a special focus on children and adolescents. My professional background includes residential mental health treatment, outpatient community mental health, school-based settings, and mental health housing agencies.
I take a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I have received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, anger management, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), somatic therapy, animal-assisted interventions, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), among other approaches. When appropriate, clients may also have the opportunity to work alongside my therapy dog, Loki, a Siberian Husky who can provide comfort, connection, and emotional support during sessions.
