Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Social Work. I have advanced training in trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and Brainspotting, and am passionate about helping individuals create meaningful, lasting change.

I work with teenagers to adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, burnout, and stress. I also enjoy working with athletes, high performers, and the partners of high achievers who are navigating the unique pressures that come with demanding careers and performance-driven environments.

Clients often describe me as warm, humerous, genuine, and direct. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel supported while also being challenged to grow. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, gain a deeper understanding of your experiences, and develop practical tools that extend beyond the therapy room.

My approach to therapy

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person comes with a unique story, strengths, and goals, so I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs. My style is collaborative, practical, and evidence-based, while also recognizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship.

Depending on your goals, I may incorporate approaches such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parts & Memory work, mindfulness, and other trauma-informed interventions. Together, we'll explore not only how to manage symptoms but also the underlying experiences and patterns that may be contributing to them.

Whether we're processing past trauma, learning new coping strategies, improving relationships, or enhancing performance under pressure, my focus is on helping you build insight, resilience, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know you. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit to work together.

My goal is to make the first session feel comfortable and conversational rather than overwhelming. While we'll gather important background information, we'll also begin identifying your strengths, discussing initial strategies if appropriate, and creating a plan that reflects your goals. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of how we'll work together and what the next steps will look like.
