Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 16+ years of experience specializing in anxiety, PTSD and grief - providing practical tools and compassionate guidance every step of the way.

My goal is simple: to create a supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and ready to move forward.

Clients appreciate my genuine empathy and my ability to build strong, trusting connections that make it easier to open up and do meaningful work.

I take a whole-person approach to care, blending mental health support with health and wellness strategies to promote lasting, balanced growth.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, which help clients build on strengths and create meaningful change. I have extensive experience working in school settings, collaborating with educators and families to support student success, and I am highly knowledgeable in IEP and 504 processes. My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on empowering clients to reach their personal, academic, and emotional goals!

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be welcoming, supportive, and focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship. I take time to learn about each client’s goals, strengths, and current challenges while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and respected. Together, we clarify what they hope to gain from counseling and begin identifying practical, achievable goals. I also explain how the counseling process works so clients feel comfortable and confident moving forward. My aim is for clients to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about their next steps.
