Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can be completely yourself without fear of judgment. I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with over 10 years of clinical experience and have been in private practice for the past seven years. I earned my Master's degree in Art Therapy from New York University and previously worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in inpatient psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and person-centered, incorporating CBT, DBT, art therapy, and additional training in Jungian and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed approaches. Together, we'll build practical skills, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should meet you where you are, balancing emotional exploration with practical tools you can use in everyday life. I integrate trauma-informed CBT and DBT interventions with Jungian and IFS-informed perspectives to help clients better understand themselves while building effective coping skills. When appropriate, I incorporate directive-based art therapy prompts tailored to your unique goals, using the creative process to access emotions, gain insight, and foster meaningful "aha" moments. I embrace the non-linear nature of healing, recognizing that curiosity, creativity, and even humor can become powerful catalysts for growth. No artistic experience is ever necessary—only a willingness to explore.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your strengths, and the goals you'd like to work toward, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll begin creating an individualized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and values. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with practical insights or tools you can begin using right away.
