Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that offers individual and family therapy in a small private practice in Houston, TX. I received my BA in Psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. After a few years of hands-on work experience, I attended the Graduate College of Social Work at University of Houston. After graduation, I completed a Clinical Fellowship at the Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. Much of the work I strive to do with clients involves integrating a reflective, curious, and compassionate stance. By exploring our own assumptions, expectations, thought patterns, and previous experiences we are better able to make changes that lead to a more balanced and healthy relationship with ourselves as well as others.

What you can expect from me

I strive to help clients view themselves in a more compassionate and curious light. When we are curious and compassionate with ourselves and others, we are better able to learn and reflect on our previous interactions, behaviors, and thinking patterns and discover healthier and more adaptive options.
