Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. My professional experience has allowed me to work with children, teens, and young adults facing a variety of challenges, and these experiences have shaped my compassionate, client-centered approach. Supporting children and their families is a special passion of mine, and I enjoy helping young people build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and navigate life's challenges.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, chronic medical conditions, and substance use. I have also completed specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and incorporate these skills when appropriate. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned my master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to grow. I believe in meeting people where they are and working together to identify strengths, overcome challenges, and build meaningful change.

I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach and draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT-informed interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My goal is to help clients develop practical coping skills, increase self-understanding, build resilience, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed space focused on getting to know one another and building a genuine connection so you feel comfortable and supported. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss what you hope to gain from our work together. This helps us begin developing a plan that feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
