Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Brittany, a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my Master of Social Work from NYU Silver School of Social Work, and I've built my practice around two areas I care deeply about: grief and loss, and women's health.

Grief can show up in many forms, including the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a pregnancy loss, a health diagnosis, or a life that didn't go the way you planned. I also work with women navigating the emotional side of reproductive and health experiences, such as infertility, pregnancy and postpartum, and chronic illness. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to carry it alone.

My approach is warm, direct, and approachable. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right for you, and work with you to find ways to cope, heal, and feel more like yourself again. I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support, perspective, and tools that fit your unique needs. I tailor our work to you rather than following a one-size-fits-all method.

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy to help you understand your emotions, make sense of your experiences, and build practical coping skills. Some sessions may focus on processing feelings, while others may focus on concrete strategies for managing day-to-day challenges.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy, and a bit about your history and support system. There's no pressure to share everything at once.

Together, we'll start to identify what you'd like to get out of our work. For some people that means finding ways to cope with overwhelming emotions, for others it's making sense of a loss, feeling less alone in a difficult experience, or reconnecting with themselves after a major life change. We'll shape goals that feel meaningful to you, and we can revisit them as things evolve.
