Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Brittany Parsons and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Arvada, Colorado area. I work with clients statewide via telehealth and offer in-person for those who are in/willing to come to the north Denver metro area. I work with teenagers (12 and older) through older adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief and trauma. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a person-centered, eclectic and solution focused approach to therapy.

My approach to therapy

I use an eclectic and holistic approach with several research-based interventions including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that after sessions with me, my clients will feel like they have been able to vent, process, and work toward healing. I also hope that clients leave with some new tools and strategies to help face life's challenges.
