Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping children, teens, and adults heal from trauma and life challenges. My background includes years of work with families impacted by domestic violence, childhood trauma such as sexual abuse, neglect, foster care system and substance use. I also facilitate groups through probation programs, supporting individuals in recovery and building healthy coping skills. Clients often describe me as warm and approachable, and I aim to create a safe space where you can feel understood and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, meaning we move at your pace while focusing on your strengths and goals. I use evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with mindfulness and coping strategies. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and together we’ll work toward healing, resilience, and creating new ways of seeing yourself and your relationships.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with practical tools for managing emotions, a deeper understanding of themselves, and a sense of hope for the future. My goal is for you to feel supported and empowered, with strategies you can use both in the moment and long-term. Together, we’ll build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create positive shifts in how you view yourself and your relationships.
