Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Brittany. I'm an LISW-CP and Registered Nurse, which means I bring both a clinical mental health perspective and a medical one to every session. That combination is especially valuable if you are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, or a chronic condition like diabetes, where mental and physical health are deeply connected. My goal is a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, recognize your own strengths, and build the tools to create meaningful change. I look forward to supporting you on that journey.

My approach to therapy

Life doesn't always go the way we planned. My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you figure out what to do next. CBT helps us look at how thoughts and behaviors connect. Motivational Interviewing means we explore what matters most to you and build from there. SFBT keeps us focused on practical steps forward. I believe most people already have strengths they can build on. They just need the right support, encouragement, and tools to get where they want to be.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and begin building a connection. We'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what's bringing you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and how I can best support you. I'll also answer any questions you may have and explain what therapy may look like moving forward.

I believe therapy works best when we work together as a team. There will likely be moments that feel challenging, emotional, insightful, and even funny along the way. My role is to meet you where you are, support you through the process, and help you develop the tools and confidence needed to reach your goals.
