Great to meet you!

I’ve always been drawn to people — their stories, their experiences, and all of the pieces that shape who they are. That is a big part of what brought me to psychiatry and what I still love most about this work. I’m naturally warm, curious, and down-to-earth, and I want my clients to feel that they are being seen as a whole person rather than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood concerns, ADHD symptoms, life transitions, and periods of feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves.

My approach to therapy

I take a holistic, individualized approach and try to understand what is happening in the context of your whole life — not just what fits into a diagnostic box. We may talk about medication, but also sleep, stress, relationships, routines, physical health, past experiences, and the things that give your life meaning. I tend to make medication changes thoughtfully and one step at a time so we can really understand what is helping. I want treatment to feel collaborative, practical, and grounded in what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit will feel more like a conversation than an interview. I’ll want to understand what brought you in, what life has looked and felt like lately, what you have already tried, and what you hope will be different with treatment. I try to create a space that feels calm, open, and judgment-free, where there is room for both the clinical details and your personal story. By the end of the visit, we will talk through my impressions and create a plan together that feels thoughtful, realistic, and uniquely yours.
