Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. I have been in the field since 2012 and licensed since 2016. I have gained most of my experience in crisis work and trauma-based services.

I hope to allow you to feel seen, heard, and understood. This helps you to experience being vulnerable and authentic in a safe space and to carry those experiences with you outside of the therapy room, reducing suffering and increasing a sense of purpose and contentment in your life.

My approach to therapy

I practice from a psychodynamic perspective and believe our early experiences as humans affect us, and find it helpful to gain insight about their impact on our current emotions and actions.

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you accept and cope with the common emotions and experiences that are part of being human, but can lead to distress and impact your wellness.

What you can expect from me

I hope to assist you in gaining insight about yourself in order to allow you to make choices that are in alignment with your values and goals. This will help you feel content and fulfilled in life, and reduce emotional suffering. I also will provide you with skills to manage distressing emotions.
