Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Brittany! I have over a decade of experience working with individuals in various settings including individually, those in residential care and those in an inpatient hospital setting. Being a woman and a mother allows me to bring lived understanding, empathy, and attunement to the unique challenges women and mothers face. My personal experience helps me relate to the emotional demands, identity shifts, and pressures that can contribute to anxiety, depression, and unhealthy ways to cope including, disordered eating and substance use. This perspective supports my ability to create a safe, validating space where clients feel understood while working collaboratively toward healing, self‐compassion, and sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

I'm down‐to‐earth, supportive, and approachable — and I use humor when it helps ease nerves, build connection, or reduce shame. My aim is to make therapy feel human rather than intimidating. As a woman and mother, I bring a lived layer of understanding for clients navigating identity, caregiving, and societal pressure alongside anxiety, depression, disordered eating, or substance use.Clinically, I draw on CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT, staying flexible and collaborative rather than prescriptive. I move at your pace — with compassion, practicality, and respect for your autonomy — until you don't just feel helped. You feel understood.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I take a down‐to‐earth, collaborative approach and appreciate humor as a way to help ease nerves and create connection. We’ll talk about your goals, what’s been feeling challenging, and what you want from therapy—at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and understood from the very beginning.
