Great to meet you!

Seeking help can feel overwhelming, and finding the right provider is an important first step. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood—not rushed or judged. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience treating adults in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions. I believe mental health treatment should be collaborative and individualized. Whether you’re seeking answers for long-standing symptoms or navigating a difficult season of life, my goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care that helps you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person, not simply treating symptoms. Every individual’s experiences, relationships, medical history, and personal goals are unique, and treatment should reflect that.

My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and collaborative. I take time to understand what has and hasn’t worked for you, educate you about your diagnosis and treatment options, and involve you in every decision regarding your care. Medication can be an important part of treatment when appropriate, but it is only one piece of improving mental wellness. I also emphasize lifestyle factors, coping skills, healthy routines, and therapy when beneficial.

My goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling informed, supported, and confident in your treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Whether you're seeking answers for long-standing symptoms or navigating a difficult season of life, we'll work together to develop a treatment plan that fits your goals and helps you feel like yourself again.

We’ll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical history, previous treatments, medications, family history, lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before your appointment. This is simply a conversation where we begin putting the pieces together.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms and we’ll create an individualized treatment plan together. If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss the benefits, risks, and available options so you can make informed decisions about your care.

My hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, understood, and optimistic about moving forward.
