Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Brittany, your neuro-spicy therapist. I am proudly Completely "weirdo friendly"—in fact, the beautifully "unusual" people are my absolute favorite to work with! My greatest passion is treating trauma; having lived it without anyone to truly hear me out, I became a therapist to provide the safe save-room you need to heal. We will team up to navigate your toughest boss battles and untangle your backstory, usually with my therapy dog in training rolling for stealth nearby.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is direct, yet radically open and encouraging. I believe therapy is a co-op campaign, and you are the ultimate lore-keeper of your own life. My approach is primarily experiential, with a strong focus on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR for deep trauma processing. I also incorporate elements from my training in DBT, Narrative Therapy, and CBT to help you build out the right inventory of tools for your specific needs.

What you can expect from me

Together, we will establish individualized goals for your therapy journey. I am committed to ensuring you walk away from each session with something valuable—whether it's a new coping skill, a fresh perspective on a problem, or simply not carrying the weight you came in with. I know that a "one-size-fits-all" approach doesn't work, which is why I'll always tailor our work to what best suits you.
