Great to meet you!

Let’s walk through your story together!

I’m Brittany Wampler, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. My journey started in teaching, but after experiencing personal loss and challenges, I felt called to help others navigate their own struggles. With a Master’s in Education from Lindsey Wilson, along with degrees in Education, English, and Literature, I bring a unique perspective to therapy—one that values your personal story and the meaning behind your experiences. Whether you're facing grief, life transitions, or emotional challenges, I’m here to provide a compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, identify patterns, and work toward healing and growth. I take a narrative and person-centered approach, meaning we focus on your unique story and strengths. Depending on your needs, I also integrate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused strategies to help you build coping skills and create meaningful change. No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to navigate it alone—I’m here to walk beside you.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive and trusting space where your story is valued. My goal is for you to leave feeling more empowered, confident, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with courage and self-compassion. Together, we’ll work on building insights, coping strategies, and a deeper understanding of yourself so you can move forward with strength and clarity. No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to face it alone—I’m here to help.
